Who looks after your data

ChiangmaiSell is run by an independent freelancer (an individual) in Chiang Mai, who is responsible for the data collected through this website. For anything about your personal data, contact us through any of the channels at the bottom of this page.

This website uses no cookies

This website sets no cookies in your browser, shows no ads and has no tools that follow you to other websites. All fonts load from this website itself, so your browser sends no requests to Google.

If this website ever needs cookies, we will always ask for your consent first.

Visit statistics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visitors. Each visit records only: the time, the page opened with some of the values added to the end of its link, the website that brought you here, your approximate country, region and city, device type, operating system, browser, and the version of the statistics script. The system tells visitors apart with a code calculated from the request to the website. The data used to tell visitors apart is not stored permanently and is discarded automatically after 24 hours, without being linked to an IP address or a person, so we see only aggregate numbers.

We also count clicks on the contact buttons, recording only the channel clicked (LINE · WhatsApp · phone · email) and the language of the page. Sending the form records only the language of the page, not what you typed.

When you contact us

If you message us on LINE or WhatsApp, call or send an email, we receive what you send us yourself, such as your name, business name, phone number and message. We use this data to answer your questions, recommend a package, prepare a quotation and provide the service if you are a customer. If you do not give your name or business details, we may not be able to prepare a quotation or contract for you.

Chats on LINE and WhatsApp are held on that app's systems, so that app's privacy policy also applies.

The short message form

The form at the bottom of the home page does not send data to this website. When you press send, the website opens a WhatsApp chat with the message you filled in, and you choose whether to send it. This website does not keep what you type.

Who sees your data

• Vercel, the hosting and statistics provider of this website, to deliver the pages to you and count statistics
• LINE · WhatsApp · email and phone providers, depending on the channel you choose to contact us
• Government authorities, when the law requires it

We do not sell your data, and we do not pass it to anyone for marketing.

How long we keep it

• Visit statistics are aggregate numbers that do not identify you
• Messages you send us are kept only as long as needed to continue the conversation. If you ask us to delete them, we delete them within 30 days
• If you are a customer, the data in quotations, contracts and receipts is kept for as long as you use the service, and after that for the period tax law requires

Your rights

Message us through the channels at the bottom of this page to ask to:

• see, or get a copy of, the data we hold about you
• correct data that is wrong
• delete data, or stop using it for the time being
• object to the use of your data, or receive your data to use with another provider
• withdraw consent you have given

We reply within 30 days. If you think we are not handling your data correctly, you can complain to Thailand's Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC).
